The atmosphere of walking down Wyckoff Avenue on a given weekend evening is electric. I was inspired to take these street portraits because of the creativity and camaraderie that exists there, it goes beyond club culture and towards something more human.

What is the dance floor if not a return to ancient rituals of celebration—a testament to life, to music, to connection, to the miracle of existing at all?
